IPTV Data Clearing Procedures

 

Reasons for doing this:

 

  1. Can’t log in (getting a log in error)

  2. Favorites not working correctly

  3. Expiration Date is incorrect

  4. Other poor performance issues

 

IMPORTANT: After performing this procedure you will be required to reenter your User Name and Password. NOTE: If you are still using an older app version you will also have to enter the correct URL information. So, have this information available before clearing the data. You may also have to ACCEPT Terms of use (EULA) when you open the app (depending on which app version your are using). This clears all data including your favorites so they will have to be added again.

 

Find your type of device listed below and follow the appropriate instructions. 

 

Free Stream x8 Rocket Box

  1. From the HOME screen, click on the APPS icon

  2. Find the IPTV app icon

  3. Press the menu button on the remote

  4. Select “Clean data” and follow the prompts

    CAUTION! DO NOT CLICK ON “Uninstall”

 

Fire TV Stick or Box

  1. Click on “Settings”, “Applications”, “Manage Installed Applications”

  2. Scroll down until you see the IPTV app icon and click on it

  3. Scroll down and click on “Clear data” and then click it once more to complete the procedure

 

Most Other Android TV Boxes

  1. From the HOME screen, click on “Settings” and then on “Apps”

  2. Scroll down until you see the IPTV app and then click on it.

  3. Next, click on “Clear data”, followed by “OK” to complete the procedure.

How To Fix PLAYBACK ERRORS When NO Channels Will Play
( For APK ver 2.2.1 ONLY)
1. RESTART you device (Fire Stick, Android Box, etc.)
2. Open your IPTV app
 
3. From the HOME screen, look up to the TOP RIGHT, and CLICK on LOG OUT. Then, click on YES to continue.
4. Click on REFRESH DNS
5. LOG BACK IN
This will usually fix the problem

How Do I Know Which Version APK I Have Installed On My Fire TV Device?
First click on the "Settings" icon and then on "Applications" Next look for the "Manage Installed Applications" and click on it. Then scroll down to the IPTV apk and you will see the version you have to the right of the IPTV icon.
