Windows 7 End of Life Coming Soon!
      Discussion
Microsoft has announced the date for Windows 7 End of Life: January 14, 2020. This means Microsoft will no longer update or support the operating system after that date. Even the CPU manufacturer’s, AMD and Intel, no longer support Windows 7 and in some cases even prevent Windows 7 from being installed when using their newest processors. While Windows 7 is now several years old – it launched on July 22 2009 – it still remains incredibly popular, with a recent report by Netmarketshare suggesting that Windows 7 is still in use on 39% of PCs. So the news that Windows 7 will soon no longer be supported by Microsoft means there are a lot of users out there who need to start thinking about finally moving on from the trusted operating system. Naturally Microsoft wants everybody to move up to Windows 10, but, there are other options. Linux now allows for installing Windows inside of it and runs great as a VM. You can switch back and forth between Linux and Windows while you work. But, if you are married to Microsoft and don’t want to divorce them, most Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 PC’s can be upgraded to Windows 10. We are now offering the new Linux option as well as Windows 10 upgrades. Come see us.

      Run Windows Within Linux!
      Discussion
Robolinux , however, does something unique. It’s the only distro, to my knowledge, that makes working with Windows alongside Linux a little easier for the typical user. With just a few clicks, it lets you create a Windows virtual machine (by way of VirtualBox) that can run side by side with Linux. No more dual booting. With this process, you can have Windows XP, Windows 7, or Windows 10 up and running with ease. And since Windows will be running within Linux, virus and malware threats will be kept to a minimum, if any!
