Information Concerning Your Computer
You will find two or three different types of protection software programs installed on your computer. They each have their own unique function and all are important for you to familiarize yourself with.
We use and recommend Avast anti-virus and malware protection software products.
(Windows Security is used if your computer does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Avast)
ATF temporary file cleaner. We recommend you run this quick and simple little program EACH time you close your browser after surfing the Web. Just open the program, click the “Select All” box and then click “Empty Selected” - NOTE: You may need to click “Empty Selected” more than once to delete all temp files.
ATF cleaner is a simple little program designed for Internet Explorer and the older versions of Firefox and Opera. It doesn't work with the latest versions of Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge Web Browsers.
To clear the temporary files in Chrome, Edge and Firefox please follow these quick and simple procedures.
FOR CHROME: While Chrome is open, press Ctrl+H on your keyboard at the same time. Look near the top left side of the page and click on "Clear browsing data" - Change the time range to "All time" and then click "Clear data"
FOR FIREFOX: While Firefox is open, press Ctrl+Shift+Del on your keyboard at the same time. A Clear All History popup window will appear. Change the "time range to clear" to "Everything" and click on "Clear Now"
FOR EDGE: While Edge is open, press Ctrl+Shift+Del on your keyboard at the same time. A Clear browsing data popup window will appear. Change the time range to "All time" and click on "Clear Now"
